been there done that. i also ordered a aftermarket pipe from jc whitney. it took some creative bolts, a lot of screaming and a custom collier piece, in the end i trashed it bought a jardine. great pipe. something went wrong in mine in about 3 months. started to rattle big time. broken baffle they tell me. now i have a complete mac system. i got a new hedder pipe and muffler for the cost of the jardine slip on. sorry about the trouble you had. I do feel your pain. good luck on the new pipe.
